These days when the state of Israel is struggling and facing the atrocities it has endured your wish to volunteer and be of useful help gives us strength and mostly reiterates the notion of the existence of good, generous and human people as you are.
In order to facilitate the procedures and mostly provide you all the information required beforehand making a decision, please find below the actual regulations and formalities should you decide to come as a volunteer:
1. Doctors and all with medical background:
Please send the following information and documents at your earliest convenience to this email (medicalvolunteersforisrael@moh.gov.il) with your full name as the subject heading:
- Passport
- Medical License
- Certificate of Specialization
- Medical School Certificate (including year of completion)
- Certificate of Good Standing (if available)
- Please also state here your hospital affiliation
- short paragraph about your clinical experience
2. Independent volunteers in all domains:
There is no objection nor any restriction whatsoever in the case of wish to come as an independent volunteer. Should it be the case, locating and contacting the designated organization/city/institution will be done directly by the volunteer.
3. Volunteering in the Army
We appreciate and value the wish to volunteer in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), however that shall not be possible for non-Israeli citizens.
