The Consulate General marked Israeli Memorial Day (Yom Hazikaron) on May 7. The ceremony is offered in memory of Israel's fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism.
The event was hosted at Beth Tzedec Congregation, with more than a thousand people in attendance. The Consulate appreciates all those who came out to show their respect: Israelis and Canadians, representatives of the Jewish Community, Rabbis of the three streams of Judaism, elected officials, military personnel, and above all - the bereaved families. We were honoured and deeply moved by your presence and participation.
