The following are the consular services provided at the Consulate: 1. Renewal or extension of travel documents
2. Registration of children born abroad to Israeli parents
3. Changing of personal status i.e. marriage, divorce…etc.
4. Notarization of documents
5. Request for police clearance certificate from Israel
6. Deferment of military service (children should make appointments at aged 16 and a half)
7. Issuing visas
8. Request for name changes or certificates from the Ministry of the Interior
9. Request to cancel Israeli Citizenship
Fees
The following services can be done by mail:
- Renewal or extension of an adult’s passport
- Notarization of government certificates
- Military deferment / release papers that have been signed in front of a notary public
- Application for documents from the Ministry of Interior
- Visa applications
For the following services, you must attend the Consulate in person:
- Notification of an Israeli born abroad
- First time applicants for any Israeli passport / travel documents , irrespective of age
- Renewal or extension of a passport of a minor (the minor is required to attend the Consulate in person as well)
- Changing of personal status i.e. marriage, divorce…etc.
- Signing of documents in front of the Consul
- A lost or damaged Israeli passport / travel document
- Request to cancel Israeli Citizenship
- Request for police clearance certificate from Israel (Israeli citizens ONLY are able to do this online on the Israeli police police)
- Request for any name change
