Mailing Documents to the Consular Section

    Documents mailed to the Consular Department at the Consulate must only be sent to, and collected from, the following address:

    The sender is responsible for any documents mailed to and from the Consulate. The Consulate cannot accept responsibility for problems with the mail service.

     

    The following services can be done by registered mail:

    - Renewal or extension of an adult’s passport/travel document

    - Notarization of government certificates

    - Application for documents and police certificates from the Ministry of Interior

    - Visa applications

     

    Passport applications for a minor (under the age of 18) cannot be sent via mail – the minor must appear at the Consulate in person.

    You can pay for consular services with a credit card (not American Express) or a money order.

     

    For paying with a money order:

     * Make sure the money order is addressed to the "Consulate General of Israel in Toronto".

    *  The amount has to be the exact amount that's required to be paid.

    Please note – if a request is mailed in, the payment card must be a credit card (not debit). When arrive to the consulate in person a debit card may be used for payment.

    We cannot accept personal cheques or cash.

     

    When mailing documents to the Consulate, please enclose a prepaid registered envelope with a tracking number with your return address, so we can return your documents to you safely and quickly. 

    If you wish to have your documents delivered back to you by a delivery service like FedEx, UPS or Purolator, please enclose an envelope from your preferred service with a prepaid waybill.​
