Toronto Symphony Orchestra Visits Israel

    ​The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) made their first ever appearances in Israel, with performances in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

    While in Israel, the Symphony visited the Old city of Jerusalem, Yad Vashem, Save A Child’s Heart Foundation, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea, Masada, Capernaum, and the Sea of Galilee.
     
    Over the course of the tour, Israeli-Russian violinist Maxim Vengerov, Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki, and soprano Carla Huhtanen joined the TSO as featured soloists.
