Idan will be joined by Cabra Casay, an Ethiopian-Israeli singer who has been an integral part of the Idan Raichel Project.

Please join us for an extraordinary opportunity to transcend the barriers of language, culture and religion as Idan and friends share live music and true stories about their background and experience. You will get a rare look behind the scenes with an artist who has performed with some 100 different musicians and singers, including 5-time Grammy Award winner, India Arie.
Raichel was one of the first Israeli musicians to collaborate with artists of different cultures and fuse their sounds with the sounds of Israel. Idan uses an array of genres to compose his unique sound style, including the use of traditional Middle Eastern music, electronica, and Israeli music gathered from his travels everywhere from West Africa to Latin America and India. The songs are filled with Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, Swahili, Spanish, Creole and Portuguese lyrics. His music promotes understanding and exposure of Israeli multiculturalism.
