    The Department of Business Development works alongside numerous partners in the Pacific Northwest Region. Ranging from government to non-profit, these organizations are working to promote increased business cooperation between Israel and the Pacific Northwest region.

    Government of Israel Economic Mission to the West Coast:

    The role of the Economic Mission is to advance Israel’s economy through local resources and potential partnerships in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions. They support this mission by promoting business relations, trade, investments and cooperation between the State of Israel and the West Coast states. American companies trying to do business in Israel, or Israeli companies trying to expand to the Western region, use the office's expertise and connections to open doors in those markets. The Economic Mission is part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor.

    California Israel Chamber of Commerce:

    The California Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental membership-supported organization dedicated to strengthening business and trade relations between California and Israel. With its wide and dynamic network of over 9,000 companies, business executives and investors, CICC is positioned to serve as a facilitator and active supporter for joint venture programs between the two communities. Through networking events, mentorship programs, investment forums and educational seminars, CICC contributes to a stronger business and commercial alliance between California and Israel.

    BIRD Foundation:

    BIRD is an acronym for Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development. The BIRD Foundation's mission is to stimulate, promote and support industrial R&D of mutual benefit to the U.S. and Israel. Any pair of companies, one Israeli and one U.S.-based, may apply jointly so long as they can demonstrate the combined capabilities and infrastructure to define, develop, manufacture, sell and support an innovative product based on industrial R&D. Their activities include matchmaking services between Israeli and American companies in the field of Research and Development. BIRD takes no equity in the joint projects and all of their services are free of charge.

    Washington Israel Business Council:

    Washington Israel Business Council is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, membership supported organization dedicated to strengthening business and trade relations between Washington State and Israel. One of their primary activities is to guide and assist Israeli companies seeking to promote and expand their businesses in the U.S., and U.S. companies seeking access to the Israeli market, technologies and products.
