In November, the Consulate General of Israel hosted a virtual roundtable in partnership with the Montana World Trade Center, and GrowingIL. Speakers during the event included the Governor of Montana Steve Bullock, U.S. Senator from MT Jon Tester, Ben Thomas, Director of the Montana Department of Agriculture, Brigitta Miranda-Freer, Executive Director, Montana World Trade Center, Zeev Lavie, VP International Relations & BizDev, Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce (FICC), Dana Kedar, AgTech Community Manager, GROWINGIL, Dr. Michal Levy, Sr Deputy Director General of Agricultural, Innovation, Israeli Ministry of Agriculture, Shlomi Kofman, CG of Israel to the PNW, Abby Majerus, Foreign Direct Investment Program, Manager for Montana World Trade Center & Owner, Majerus Ranch Montana, Rachel Cone, Director of State Affairs, Montana Farm Bureau Federation, Cliff Bradley, CEO, Montana BioAgriculture Inc., Maya Vardi Shoshani, Director of Business Development and Head of West Coast Division, BIRD Foundation. The event was put together to foster the creation of a stronger relationship between the State of Israel and Montana, fomenting B2B opportunities for both states.
