Israeli citizens can use this service to get
notary services and consular authorizations at Israeli missions around the
world.
Process time is approximately 5
business days, with an additional 1/2 Days FedEx delivery
for shipment. There are two options
for notarization. Please read both options carefully before choosing.
SIGN DOCUMENT(S) IN FRONT OF A LOCAL NOTARY
PUBLIC
In most (but not all) cases, you may be able
to have documents notarized by a Local Notary Public.
Please note:
It is your responsibility
to verify with the relevant authority in Israel that signing the document in
front of a Local Notary Public (instead of the Consul) is acceptable. In most
cases it does!
Documents signed in
front of a Local Notary Public must be stamped with an Apostille stamp. An apostille stamp can
only be obtained from the Secretary of State of the state or country from which
the notary obtained his/her license.
SIGN DOCUMENT(S) IN FRONT OF THE CONSUL
The Consulate can authenticate signatures on the power of attorney, declaration, and affidavit matters.
The processing time is approximately 5 business
days (not including shipment). In urgent matters please see option A
– sign document(s) in front of a local notary public. The consulate will
not provide documents faster than 5 business days.

Affidavit from a translator is required. The affidavit must be in
English or Hebrew and contain:
v Translator’s full name
and address
v Declaration by the
translator stating that he/she is the person who translated the
