UNGA Resolution Preventing Constructive Negotiations

UNGA Res. Preventing Constructive Negotiations

  •   The suggested UNGA resolution regarding the violence on the Gaza border is dissuading the Palestinians from participating in constructive negotiations.

The suggested United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) scheduled to take place on Wednesday 13 June concerning the violence on the Gaza Border is one-sided (as usual). This resolution makes no reference to the Hamas terror organization, a world-recognized terror organization (including New Zealand) that is covering up its domestic failures with provocations against Israel while cynically sending its people to risk their lives on the border. It is important to note that the border fence was built after the complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in order to stop suicide bombings and terror attacks.

Israel’s response has been and continues to be based on international law and is matching up to the danger of its citizens. Make no mistake, such a resolution will dissuade the Palestinian side from engaging in constructive negotiations and will encourage Hamas to continue their destructive and violent behavior.
