On 18 June Ambassador Livne hosted a reception honoring the members of the New Zealand-Israel Parliamentary friendship group. In his welcoming remarks Ambassador Livne reiterated the interest of Israel in developing further the ties between the two countries and underlined the importance of the group in promoting this goal. The M.P’s and the Ambassador and his DCM discussed Israel’s achievements in the field of innovation as well as matters relating to the situation in the Middle East
