On Thursday evening (July 10, 2014), Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman conducted an evaluation of the situation with senior ministry officials.

FM Liberman expressed satisfaction at the world response to date to Operation Protective Edge, and at the understanding displayed by the international community for Israel's efforts to put an end to the rocket fire. He instructed the ministry to place special emphasis on contacts with senior diplomatic and political officials of the countries which are members of the UN Security Council.

FM Liberman has in recent days been holding talks with foreign ministers throughout the world. He told his colleagues that no country in the world would be prepared to accept a situation in which its citizens are forced to cope on a daily basis with rockets fired at them, disrupting their daily lives. Israel is no different, and will do everything to put an end to this situation.
