Israel welcomes the Honduran government's decision

    This decision, together with the future opening of the Israeli Embassy in Tegucigalpa, will further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. We call upon other countries to follow suit and move their embassies to Jerusalem.

    Israel warmly congratulates the Honduran government's decision to relocate its embassy to Jerusalem. This step is both courageous and of great importance, and attests to the special relationship the two country’s share.
     
     
     
    This decision, together with the future opening of the Israeli Embassy in Tegucigalpa, will strengthen even further the friendship and cooperation the two countries have enjoyed. We call upon other countries to follow suit and move their embassies to Jerusalem.
