Last night, the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles celebrated Israel's 68th Independence Day at the Skirball Cultural Center. It was an emotional celebration featuring incredible live music, Israeli cuisine, and many members of the international community.We were so touched by the words spoken by Special speaker Mayor Eric Garcetti, as he congratulated Israel:
"It is such a joy for me to be here to celebrate one of my favorite Birthdays - The birth of a nation that is older than my oldest ancestors, and yet, younger than my mother".
