    The Office of Media Affairs serves as a resource for editors, journalists, and broadcasters to receive information and official statements on issues relating to Israel, notably in the areas of politics, economics, culture, and energy.

    In addition to its daily communications with local, national, and international media, the Office of Media Affairs distributes press releases, updates, and statements on key developments. The department arranges interviews and briefings for members of the media with the Consul General and other Israeli diplomats. The department coordinates Israeli government officials' visits and develops the media components.

    The department is happy to provide members of the press traveling on assignment to Israel with written and visual information and help to arrange meetings and interviews (Press Accreditation Information).

    The Office of Media Affairs also communicates with the journalists and the general public via Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
