The consulate will not
consider applications from citizens of the following countries: Iraq, Iran,
Lebanon, and Syria.
These guidelines are intended to specify the method of arranging for entry of US citizens who wish to come to Israel and pass through Israel's border crossings, including the stage where they are still outside Israel and have not reached its border crossings. Moreover, the privileges will also apply, as detailed in this document, to US citizens who are residents of the Judea and Samaria area or who possess additional citizenship included in the appendix to the Citizenship and Entry into Israel Law (Temporary Order), 5782/2022 (hereafter, "the Temporary Order").
A/2 Student visa requirements
This visa is granted to those who want to study in Israel in elementary and high schools, academic institutions, yeshiva, and youth institutions of the Jewish Agency. The visa is valid for up to one year and for multiple entrances and exits. Recipients of this visa are not permitted to work in Israel.

A student who is a child of an Israeli parent is not eligible for a student visa. The student must be registered (in most cases) as a citizen of the state of Israel by his Israeli parent. |

A minor must be present at the Consulate with his parents and will not be given a visa without the written consent of both parents or his legal guardian. The Consul may request additional documents.
Visa applications for adults only should be mailed to the Consulate. (For minors, only in person)

B/2 Visitor's visa requirements
A B/2 visa is granted to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time (for a visit, tourism, a business meeting, or study in a Hebrew Ulpan). A person who enters Israel on a B/2 visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel.
A B/2 visa is valid for up to three months from the date of issue. The duration of the stay in Israel will be determined by the Border Police. A visitor who wishes to extend his visit may submit an application at one of the regional population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.

A/1 Temporary Resident visa (Aliyah)
- for people eligible for immigration under the Law of Return
An A/1 Temporary Resident visa is given to a person who is eligible for immigration (Aliyah) and has completed the examination process with the Aliyah representative of the Jewish Agency, and whose application has been examined and approved by the diplomatic / consular representative at an Israeli mission.
B/1 Work visa
This visa is for a person whose stay in Israel is approved for a limited period of time for the purpose of work. This visa is given to experts and artists, among others, and is granted solely with the approval of Population and Immigration Authority in Israel.
The fee is paid by the applicant when the application is submitted to one of the population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior. Upon receipt of Population and Immigration Authority, the mission will issue the B/1 Work visa after obtaining the following documents from the applicant:

MASA students can receive this approval through the MASA program. Only then you can apply for student visa A/2 , by Mail.
Yeshiva members/students need to apply for a visa and entry permit through the Yeshiva. Members who are under 18- the process is to be done at the Consulate with the presentation of a letter from the Ministry of Health.
