The department of Public Affairs engages community members, institutions, organizations and other key constituencies. The department helps maintain and enhance relationships with a broad range of communities within the Southwest United States by opening channels of communication with the non-Jewish and the Jewish world. These channels include culture, academia, politics, religious and social issues.

The department answers questions about Israel and the Jewish world, serves as a resource for printed and video materials, manages the speakers’ bureau and brings Israel-related activities and events to the Southwest region.
