On the eve of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Consul for Political Affairs Yaki Lopez presented the Righteous Among the Nations award to the family of Maria Kiss Madi, who at the risk of her own life rescued Jews during the Holocaust. This award, presented in Denver Colorado, is Israel's highest honor given to those who saved Jewish lives during World War II.
