On 8/7, after Israel's launching of a large-scale military offensive against Gaza militants, Hamas have fired dozens of rockets to Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel Aviv.
In a statement, Hamas threatened to attack "all Israeli" in response to Tel Aviv's air strikes, at the same time confirmed the latest retaliatory action by the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades.
Missile defense system Iron Dome shot down the rocket to Tel Aviv, together with other 23 out of 130 rockets fired toward Israel on 8/7.
Escalating tensions between Hamas and Israel receive deep concerns over the world. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed UN's "particular concern" about the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. European Union (EU), U.S and other countries urged 2 sides to restrain and stop offensive actions that caused regional casualties and instability.
