The second weekend of December was a surprisingly snowy one. Residents of Jerusalem and of the towns and villages in its surrounding mountains woke up on Thursday (December 12) to a beautifully white morning.
The snow covered vast parts of the city and its neighborhoods, sending many Jerusalemites (especially the younger ones) out to play in the snow and to enjoy its pretty sights.
