Israel-Vietnam Trade Relations

    The bilateral trade between Israel and Vietnam is growing steadily, reflecting a growing mutual interest of both business and industrial sectors. 
     
    Bilateral trade between Israel and Vietnam reached $1,105 billion in 2019, a slight rise from $1,083 billion of 2018.
     
    In the first 2 months of 2020, trade volumn reached $235.58 million. In trade balance, Vietnam's exports increase by 4.5% and Israel's exports increased by 376.1%. This is because Vietnam returns to import computers, eletronic components from Israel at high volumn, resulting a trade deficit of $19.62 million.
     
    Israel's main exports to Vietnam are electronics and machinery, chemicals, minerals, technological services, while Vietnam's main exports to Israel are food, coffee, natural products, textiles and shoes.   
     
    Israel companies are interested in agriculture, investment, startup, applying technology in production, cybersecurity, information technology. They are also interested in building factories in Vietnam to produce consumer goods.
