On 6/3, at the luncheon entitled "Vietnam-Israel: Women leaders of the culinary arts" held by the Embassy and the Vietnamese Women's Union at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, two experts with Chef Van of Metropole Hotel and culinary expert VuongThi Thang prepared the best food of Israel and Vietnam to serve the guests who are senior female leaders of the Party, the State, the international organizations and businesses. This is a good opportunity for Vietnam and Israel to share the cuisine, the culture and to enhance the role of women in all fields, including those considered to be very traditional.
Earlier, two culinary experts spent two days in Ho Chi Minh City to explore the Vietnamese culinary art (by tasting Vietnamese food in the typical restaurants and street food) and to introduce Israeli food and wine at the Park Hyatt Saigon.
On 5/3, two experts hosted the cooking class in the kitchen of Spices Garden restaurant, Sofitel Metropole with participation of successful businesswomen in love with cooking. The trainees experienced the unique culinary art of Israel and then together enjoyed their own creations.
Also within this visit, at the invitation of the Vietnamese Women's Union, the two experts visited the rice wrapping cake of Thanh Tri to discover the traditional food villages of Vietnam
