President Rivlin on a 4 day visit to Brussels

    His Excellency the President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin and Mrs Nechama Rivlin will arrive on Monday morning in Brussels for a 4 days visit.
    During his stay President Rivlin will meet with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk, the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and High-Representative/ Vice-President Federica Mogherini. They will discuss the strong bilateral relations between Israel and the European Union and the overall situation in the Middle East.
     
    In view of the recent NATO decision to invite Israel to open an office at the NATO Headquarters, he will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
     
    His Excellency President Rivlin will also visit the European Parliament where he will meet the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz and address the Plenary of the European Parliament (Wednesday, June 22nd at 15:00).
