Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this afternoon (Wednesday, 13 March 2019), spoke by telephone with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in wake of the plane crash disaster.

Prime Minister Netanyahu asked his Ethiopian counterpart to assist in the entry of ZAKA teams to the crash site; Ethiopian Prime Minister Ahmed said that he would assist on the matter.

Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the Ethiopian people, and invited Prime Minister Ahmed to visit Israel.
