Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Monday evening to Austrian Chancellor-elect Sebastian Kurz. The Prime Minister congratulated him on his election victory and said that Austria has done much in recent years to preserve the memory of the Holocaust and fight against anti-Semitism. The Chancellor-elect thanked the Prime Minister and added that he was interested in developing friendship and links with Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu also raised the issue of Iranian aggression and invited Chancellor-elect Kurz to visit Israel. The latter responded positively and said that he would be happy to visit Israel soon.
