Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met this afternoon (Wednesday, 20 October 2021), at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, with the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Prime Minister Bennett and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar discussed strengthening the strategic alliance, expanding bilateral ties and deepening the warm friendship between Israel and India. Prime Minister Bennett thanked the External Affairs Minister and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their personal commitment to the partnership between Israel and India.
Prime Minister Bennett: “I speak on behalf of Israelis: We love India. We view India as a huge friend and we’re looking forward to expanding our relationship in all fields and all dimensions. I look forward to a very productive meeting.”
On behalf of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar invited Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to make his first official visit to India.
