Israel sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine

    ​100 tons of humanitarian aid will be shipped to Ukraine today. The shipment includes medical supplies, water purification equipment, tents, blankets and warm clothing.

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ MASHAV Division - Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation – will deliver 100 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

    In accordance with a decision by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid, the humanitarian aid will include 17 tons of medical equipment and medicine (donated by Israel’s Ministry of Health), Israeli systems for water purification and an emergency kit for water supply (in coordination with the Water Authority), as well as thousands of tents, blankets, sleeping bags and coats.

    The humanitarian aid will be shipped today (Tuesday, 1 March 2022) to Warsaw from where it will be transferred to Ukraine.
