    Israel is to host the UEFA under 21 Championships starting on June 5. The event will attract fans from around the world and TV audiences of an estimated 150 million.

    Teams from England, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Norway and Holland are expected to participate.

    The tournament will consist of 15 matches.

    Many VIPs will be in attendance, including the Italian national team coach Cesare Prandelli, Louis van Gaal of the Netherlands and England's manager Roy Hodgson. Former players such as Gunter Netzer, Lothar Matthaus and Matthias Sammer and politicians from across Europe will be in attendance.
