FM Lapid meets with Greek FM Nikos Dendias

    Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid and Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Dendias discussed bilateral, regional and energy issues, as well as relations between Israel and the EU.  

    In addition, the two leaders discussed the issue of the steps taken by Turkey in the area of the city of Varosha in Cyprus and expressed deep concern regarding these steps.

    FM Lapid: “It was a pleasure to host Greek FM Nikos Dendias. This is the first visit of a European foreign minister in Israel since the formation of the new government. The relations between Israel and Greece are strong and robust and we intend to continue to develop and strengthen them.”
