FM Lapid meets with Croatian FM Gordan Grlić-Radma

    Minister of Foreign Affairs Yair Lapid met today (Wednesday, 28 July 2021) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem with Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić-Radman. During the meeting, the two expressed the great mutual appreciation between Israel and Croatia.

    Croatia is a great friend of Israel and a strong supporter of Israel in the European Union and of Israel’s active return to the EU Association Agreement.

    The two ministers discussed cooperation in the fields of politics, bilateral relations, and the economy.

    FM Lapid: “Our goal is to strengthen the excellent ties we have with Croatia. I thank Foreign Minister Grlić-Radman, who has been a close friend of Israel for many years." 

    Croatian FM Grlić-Radman: “I am here to see how we can continue to strengthen our relationship. Croatia is a great supporter of the connection between Israel and the European Union, which is why we are working together to convene the Association Council as soon as possible.”
