FM Ashkenazi to depart on official visit to Greece

    Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabi Ashkenazi will depart tomorrow (Monday, 26 October 2020) on a two-day visit to Greece on the occasion of the annual trilateral Israel-Greece-Cyprus Summit. 

    During the course of the visit, the Israeli delegation will hold bilateral and trilateral meetings that will focus on advancing relations between Israel, Greece and Cyprus, regional developments, and enhancing cooperation within the trilateral framework.

    During the visit, FM Ashkenazi will meet with the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, as well as with the Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. 

    FM Ashkenazi will also meet with the Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, who will be in Athens concurrently.
