    Within the framework of the fourth annual G2G summit taking place today in Jerusalem, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabi Ashkenazi met with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. The two leaders discussed upgrading Israel-Greece relations, renewing travel between the two countries, and a range of other bilateral matters.
     
    The two leaders discussed the measures needed to renew travel ties between Israel and Greece. August 1st has been set as the target date for reopening the skies, subject to public health conditions.
     
    The discussion focused on cooperation between Israel and Greece in energy, trade, and innovative initiatives.
     
    As part of the bilateral summit, the two countries signed a Declaration of Intent to advance collaboration in the fields of cybersecurity, energy, agriculture, and tourism. 
    FM Ashkenazi thanked his colleague for Greece's support of Israel, and added that he intends to continue working towards strengthening the robust partnership between the two countries.
