After the huge success of the Brussels’ Movers & Shakers Party in the beginning of the year the Eurobubble was once more invited to put on their dancing shoes – and change their suits into comfy Tel Aviv style clothes. We were happy to see our friends from the European External Action Service, Commission, Council and Parliament, from Brussels based Think Tanks and European Jewish organisations, journalists and many more close contacts to shake on the dance floor with us.
Ambassador Roni Leshno-Yaar welcomed our guests: “We celebrate the warm relations between Tel Aviv and Brussels. It is true that today in Brussels it was 4 degrees and rainy and in Tel Aviv it was 22 degrees and sunny… But there is much in common between the two cities, they are both plural, open, liberal,… So I wish you all a pleasant evening, enjoy the food, enjoy the dance – let’s celebrate.”
With Tel Aviv style party music from DJ Bago, Tel Aviv beach scenery in the background, Tel Aviv style cocktails and snacks we could almost feel the Israeli sun in our faces – in the midst of the rather chilly Brussels weather.
