    From Tel Aviv nightlife to the breathtaking landscape of the Dead Sea all the way through the inescapable Bah’ai gardens of Haifa, the colors and the exploration of Jerusalem, the secret natural pools of the Galilee, the pleasures of the seaside resort of Eilat, and many more cities and adventures, Israel has become a not-to-be missed tourist destination in 2018.
     
    The ministry of tourism reported an increase of 14 % regarding the number of tourists in comparison to 2017. the country welcomed a record-breaking 4,120,800 million incoming tourists. The income from the sector has exceeded 24 billion shekels, according to the Ministry.
     
    “Sunny” the famous 1960’ song of Bobby Hebb rang like a holiday melody in the ears of many European viewers when watching the add campaign of the Israeli ministry of tourism. Made as a series of Instagram stories, highlighting its two largest cities, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, this video leaves us with a feeling of excitement, fun and the desire for sun and beaches, which Israel is full of. We can see two girls enjoying their holidays by laying at Tel Aviv beaches, walking on Teddy Park water fountain of Jerusalem, discovering the Umbrella Street of the old city and many more activities.
     
    The television version has been seen by about 60 million people in about dozen countries and has been clicked on by 13,5 million internet users.     We can imagine the figures will be the same and even better in 2019 as this year will be met with exciting appearances and developments. This year, a new and very imposing airport will open in the Valley of Timma, 18 kilometers from Eilat, the Ramon International Airport.
     
    The opening of dozen of new flight destinations from around the world made even more possible the increase of foreigners visiting the country in 2018.
    The Ramon airport should welcome around 2 million passengers a year and around 60 commercial aircrafts a day going on.
     
    Tourists will come in droves to attend the 2019 Eurovision contest, won last year by the iconic Netta Barzilai. Beginning of the hot season, the Eurovision will be a not-to-miss whole weekend party in Tel Aviv. Be Ready!
