Academia
The main aim of the department of public affairs on the subject of academia is to promote contacts between Israeli and Dutch academia. Several cooperation agreements between Israeli and Dutch universities have already been signed, and the Embassy maintains good relationships with some student organizations in the Netherlands. Besides this the Embassy participates in various academic events.
The Embassy can provide speakers for events - Embassy personnel and diplomats, or speakers from Israel - if so requested.
The Embassy can also host groups of students who want to learn more about Israel or who are planning to go to Israel on a study trip or an exchange program. In such a case, we can organize a series of meetings with different departments of the Embassy, according to the interests of the group. Lectures can be combined with screening of movies and/or presentations at the Embassy.
