Han Liming welcomed the Consul General 's Delegation and reviewed the fruitful achievements between Nanjing and Israel  in economic, trade, scientific and technological, and cultural exchanges and cooperation. She introduced the positive results Nanjing has achieved in coordinating epidemic prevention , economic and social development this year.

Han Liming stated that Israel was known as the “Nation of Innovation and the Silicon Valley of the Middle East”. She hoped that both parties would accelerate the pace of innovation and cooperation, expand the blue ocean of industrial development, build a platform for exchanges and collaboration, and allow more Israeli technology companies and universities to set up R&D institutions in Nanjing. Nanjing Municipal would implement the spirit of the President Xi’s speech at the CIIE, focus on building a dual-cycle development pattern, deepen cooperation with Israel in all aspects of economic and social development, and strive to create a model of "Belt and Road" cooperation.

Edward said that Nanjing did a great job and quickly controlled the new Corona epidemic and achieved an economic growth rate of 3.3%. The relevant experience was worth learning from Israel. The two sides had the potential to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and carry out further cooperation in the fields of science and technology, education, and medical care in the context of the normalization of the epidemic.
