    Reception hours for consular services:
     
    The Consular Department is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (except during national and Jewish holidays).
     Notorization services will be given only on Mondays and Thursdays. Please call or Email to make an appointment

    Telephone reception hours for consular services:
     
    Questions regarding visa issues will be answered in a special number, Monday-Friday 08:30-17.30. The number is 021-60102529 (Chinese only). Calls in the Hebrew and English languages will be answered at 021-60102503, Mondays through Fridays, 08:30-17.30.
     
    SECURITY NOTICE
    For security reasons do not come with  bags / electronic devices / weapons / sharp things but with documents only.
    Anyone arriving with anything mentioned here will not be allowed to enter the consulate.

  • Payment  procedures for Consular Services in the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai

  •  
     Cash payments for consular services will be done in any designated CITIC Bank branches prior to receiving consular services. No cash payments will be accepted in the Consulate.
    In the bank you will be able to select the appropriate service from a list of services. After completing the payment you will receive an original invoice and a copy.
    Please arrive to the Consulate with both invoices. Services in the Consulate will be provided after showing the original invoice, which is the only proof of payment Please verify in advance the fees for the Notary services, passports and other traveling documents.
     
    Be advised that for Notary services, appointments must be scheduled in advance, and in any case such services will only be given on Mondays and Thursdays.

  • Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the mission offices:

  •  
    1. Please bring a photo ID.
    2. Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
    3. For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
    4. Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
    5. Do not bring food and/or beverage bottles or containers.
    6. The mission’s security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.

    It is important to stress that there are cases in which you are required to visit the mission in person. Please contact the department in order to find out the exact regulations.
  • Verification by means other than Apostille:

    Verification of a document in a country that is not a signatory to the Hague Convention (suce as China) should be implemented as follows:
    After the document is verified by the competent authority in the foreign country (usually the Foreign Ministry or Ministry of Justice), the Israeli consular representative verifies the signature of the competent authority.
