February 21, 2019, Dr.Eyal Propper, the Consul
General of Israel in Shanghai, visited Zhenjiang. Mr. Zhang Yefei, the Mayor of
Zhenjiang, and Mr. Pan Zaoyun, the Secretary of Yangzhong Municipal Party
Committee, hosted the Consul General’s Delegation in Zhenjiang and Yangzhong.

Mr. Zhang
Yefei briefed the guests about the basic situation of the city. He said that
Zhenjiang had obvious advantages in location, profound historical and cultural
heritage, beautiful ecological environment and developed industrial economy. He
hoped that Zhenjiang and Israel could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the
fields of aerospace industry, high-efficiency agriculture and talent
cultivation.
Dr.
Eyal Propper said that he visited Zhenjiang last year for the first time, and
he was deeply impressed by the natural features of Zhenjiang with mountains and
water. He expressed his good wishes for the cooperation between Zhenjiang and
Israel and would do his best to support more Sino-Israel exchanges in the near
future.
Dr. Eyal Propper and his party visited
the city this time, and focused on the progress of the Israeli Ham-let
Group's investment projects in Yangzhong.
