    and Congregation B'nai Tikvah Social Action Committee for a viewing of the trailblazing Israeli documentary "Family In Transition", a Film By Ofir Trainin and a Conversation about Gender Transition, Family Connection and the Fight Against Social Stigmas.
    Family In Transition, tells the story of an Israeli family after Amit, a husband and father of four, living in a small traditional town, reveals to his family that he's a transgender woman. The film follows the courage and tolerance demonstrated by all family members insisting on staying together despite personal difficulties and social stigmas and believing that love will overcome all difficulties, and gives us a unique perspective on the experiences of the trans community in Israel.
