Chairman Isaac Herzog of the Jewish Agency visited the Consulate to meet with local Rabbis and Heads of Jewish Schools in the Bay Area. During the meetings, they discussed the current strengths and weaknesses at institutions in the area and ways in which the Jewish Agency can be a resource. We hope this meeting will foster a broader dialogue and will build more connections between Israel and the local community.
The Jewish Agency connects the global Jewish family, brings Jews to Israel, and Israel to Jews, by providing meaningful Israel engagement and facilitating Aliyah. They energize young Israelis and their worldwide peers to rediscover a collective sense of Jewish purpose.
