    To the moon!
It seems that everyone these days wants to go back to the Moon: the US, China, and others have major plans to get back there. But Israel did it before it was mainstream.
We are happy to introduce Yonatan Winetraub, co-founder of SpaceIL, a $100M Israeli non-profit organization that attempted to land ‘Beresheet’, the first private interplanetary robotic mission, on the Moon on April 11, 2019 making Israel only the 7th nation ever to orbit the moon and reach the lunar surface.
SpaceIL's journey started in a bar but became a national movement to inspire children to pursue careers in science and engineering.
Yonatan is a Biophysics PhD student at Stanford developing optical imaging devices to image cancer non-invasively providing early detection for treatment options.
He is an engineer at heart and is super excited to be part of a new era of technology where applications that were impossible only 10 years ago, like private space travel and nanometric level laser technology are now affordable and accessible!

Join us on December 9, 12pm PT for a unique opportunity to ask Yonatan Winetraub ANYTHING about Planetary Science Space Exploration and much more!
