IsraAID, a non-profit NGO committed to providing assistance and disaster relief in response to crises, traveled to Washington to assist in the aftermath of the recent wildfires. Despite everything going on at home, a group of Israeli volunteers aided civilians and authorities in Pateros, WA in cleaning up the devastation.
The fire burned for more than 10 days through almost 400 square miles burning around 300 houses and has been called the worst fire in Washington’s history.
