Consul General David shared center stage with The Honorable Avi Dichter, Former Shin Bet Director and Former Minister of Home Front Defense, at the AIPAC Silicon Valley Gala in San Jose on December 8th.

During the start of the Second Intifada, Dichter restructured the Shin Bet to serve at the forefront of Israel's security and counter-terrorism efforts. In doing so , the Shin Bet is credited with drastically reducing the number of attacks perpetrated against Israel during this time as well as helping restore safety and morale to the Israeli public.
