10 Israeli firms at world's largest gaming expo

    A delegation of ten Israeli gaming companies took part in Casual Connect in San Francisco, California, from August 11-13, 2015. The Israeli gaming industry is known for combining advanced technology with outstanding performance.

    The delegation - organized jointly by the Israeli Ministry of Economy's Foreign Trade Administration Trade Mission in San Francisco, the Unit to Promote Investments and Industrial Cooperation and GAMEIS, the Israeli gaming companies association - are meeting with potential buyers and senior business partners from leading companies and international corporations such as Apple, Zynga, Amazon Gaming, Sony, Facebook and other companies.
     
    The Israeli gaming industry is known for combining advanced technology with outstanding performance. The industry contains some 1,000 designers and developers in the field of technology and gaming content. Israel, already world-famous as 'The Startup Nation', has made a mark as a rising force in the world of games through several local companies that won praise around the world. The companies taking part in the expo  will present novel solutions side by side with proven success stories in the field of developing games, marketing and monetizing solutions, all with an eye to examine avenues of investment and possibilities of cooperation on games that have the potential to succeed.
     
    Among the companies in the Israeli delegation are:
     
    Adience - A unique platform for mobilizing the management of a game audience and dividing it to clusters on mobile devices. The technology offers a performance-based cross section of products in order to yield optimized user purchase interfaces and an analysis of the prospective audience. The company provides a product useful mainly for developers and companies publishing mobile apps.
     
    Optimove - A platform for automating live transmissions, used by over 150 customer-focused brands.
     
    Planet of the Apps - A boutique gaming studio located in the Jerusalem Hills. In Planet of the Apps, creative ideas come to life and receive support throughout their life cycle, from advertising ideas to launching a product.
     
    Tacticsoft - An independent gaming development studio established in 206 by Michael Rosen, an enthusiastic entrepreneur and gamer. Michael has more than a decade's experience in designing, building and operating MMO games.
     
    The Idollz - Established in 2014 by Yisrael Stern, and Israeli businessman and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in the gaming industry. The company is famous mostly for a musical game combining musical creativity with a full-experience life-simulation.
     
    Gili Ovadia, Head of the Economic and Trade Mission to California said:  "The games industry is one of the fastest growing fields in the world, with the combined value of the sector exceeding the combined value of the music business." He added that "Israel has substantial knowledge in fields interfacing with the gaming industry, including the implementation of technologies like mass storage, information transfer and cyber security, all aspects which are in high demand in the gaming industry, especially in multi-user games. The Israeli Ministry of Economy's San Francisco Trade Mission works to help Israeli companies in this part of the US, characterized by technology and innovation firms among the largest in the world."
