Due to ongoing industrial action being taken by the Foreign Ministry in Israel, there are limitations on the provision of some consular services.

    Therefore:

As of June 15th 2022 and until further notice, we are forced to stop issuing passports and visas of any class to Israel.

In addition, any documentation requests that have been submitted and are awaiting receipt from the Consulate, will be delayed.

Where possible, we recommend that travelers to Israel use their foreign passports to visit the country.

In case of emergency, we can issue a "one-time travel document", which is valid for two weeks and is suitable for direct flights to Israel only.

In the instance that it is absolutely essential that the matter be addressed without delay, you can contact the Exceptions Committee at the Foreign Ministry Workers Committee via the following email address:

    harigim@mfa.gov.il

Replies from this email address are received within 10 working days.

Applications for renewal of passports by mail should be avoided, at this stage, as should be requests for visas of any type.

Please do not come to the Consulate for these matters.

We apologise in advance for the inconvenience.
