The Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest has extended its 66th Year of Independence Day celebration, to the general public. Instead of holding its traditional Yom Ha’atzmaut reception, you are all welcome to join us at the opening night of the Israel Jazz and World Music Festival. Please join us when Israeli Singer Songwriter Mika Karni and her Kol Dodi trio will perform at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 6 in the Preston Bradley Hall of the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington Street.
If you can’t make the evening concert, you can hear Mika earlier that day at the JUF celebration at noon in Daley Plaza,
