The Jerusalem Conventions and Visitors Bureau (JCVB) under the direction of the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA), is delighted to welcome the decision by TBEX to hold their 2017 international conference in Jerusalem. TBEX is the largest conference and networking event for travel bloggers, online travel journalists, new media content creators, travel brands and industry professionals.

Each year, TBEX partners with host destinations in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific to bring the travel industry’s most creative minds together to learn, network and do business. The first TBEX was held in 2009. Since then, it has grown into the world’s largest travel community, with conferences held annually, attracting around 1000 delegates from around the world, making it the best opportunity for travel brands to engage with the most influential travel bloggers and leading digital content creators.

TBEX International 2017 will be held on March 20-22, 2017, at the Jerusalem International Convention Center (ICC), Jerusalem, Israel.

Ilanit Melchior, Director of Tourism at the JDA, welcomed the announcement and said, "This is an important opportunity to reach the top opinion leaders in the travel industry and travel media. Jerusalem offers conferences so much more than just the facilities for a successful event, but the opportunity to enjoy the city's unique history, culture, culinary delights and nightlife."

“Jerusalem was chosen as our first TBEX International destination because of its rich multi-cultural history,” says Patti Hosking, TBEX Vice President. “Geographically in Asia, but more economically and culturally aligned with Europe, Jerusalem is one of those special destinations that defies classification and is best explained as International. It’s a bucket list destination for many people, including bloggers, and we know that our attendees will find diverse experiences there. We’re going to see a lot of very special stories come out of our time in Jerusalem.”

The full program is being planned in partnership with host destination sponsors, the Jerusalem Development Authority, iTravelJerusalem.com, and the Israel Ministry of Tourism.
