MASHAV is the body responsible for coordinating Israel’s official humanitarian assistance program, using its vast experience in crisis response in order to rapidly organize and dispatch needed supplies and assistance to countries in crisis.
Israel is often called upon to dispatch aid in the wake of earthquakes, floods, famine and other natural disasters. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been actively involved in coordinating humanitarian assistance in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi through the following interventions.
