Malawian Passport holders are exempt of Visitor’s visa to the state of Israel. If you are a Malawi national, have a Malawian passport and are interested in arriving to Israel for tourism, pilgrimage or a short visit, you are not required to obtain a visa prior to your arrival.

consult the Consular Department if you have any questions or concerns.
Please note that while the Embassy of Israel in Nairobi has the authority to grant you a Visa, ultimately, Border Control at your chosen point of entry has the prerogative to make the final decision regarding your entry into the State of Israel.

- Please be advised that COVID-19 regulations are NO longer a requirement. Anyone with a valid passport and visa (if needed) will be allowed entrance into The State of Israel.
Student Visa (A/2)
- Valid passport for at least 1 year from today
- 1 Passport picture, 5cmX5cm, American Standard size
- Duly filled and signed visa application form (see attached)
- Acceptance letter from the University/Yeshiva detailing duration of studies, terms of admission & scholarship or stipend if applicable
- Personal bank statement for the last 6 months
- Tentative travel dates (unpaid booking)

- Letter of employment with verifiable contact details
or
- Proof of recent graduations (diploma, certificate) from a recognized institution
