Please note that the visa process takes up to 1 month.
Travelers holding a Ugandan National or Official Passport and would like to travel to Israel for any purpose require a VISA.
General Notices:
- The Service fee rates for 2023 were updated. Please check the new rates on the following link: consular-fees
- All visa requests have to go via our visa offices; the Embassy no longer accepts applications sent directly to the Embassy.
- Please be advised that COVID-19 regulations are NO longer a requirement. Anyone with a valid passport and visa (if needed) will be allowed entrance into The State of Israel.
Visitor’s Visa (B/2)
Student Visa (A/2)
- Valid passport for at least 1 year from today
- 1 Passport picture, 5cmX5cm, American Standard size
- Duly filled and signed visa application form (see attached)
- Acceptance letter from the University/Yeshiva detailing duration of studies, terms of admission & scholarship or stipend if applicable
- Personal bank statement for the last 6 months
- Tentative travel dates (unpaid booking)
- For travelers of age 18-40 we also require a certificate of good conduct Authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda

- Letter of employment with verifiable contact details
or
- Proof of recent graduations (diploma, certificate) from a recognized institution
Please note that while the Embassy of Israel in Nairobi has the authority to grant you a Visa, ultimately, Border Control at your chosen point of entry has the prerogative to make the final decision regarding your entry into the State of Israel.
